This is a closed-door rom-com that takes on some heavier topics, specifically miscarriage and its accompanying grief. A journey of healing and hope accompany this topic, but please read gently and know that I see you even if this book isn’t for you. Additionally, unplanned pregnancy, parental loss, and hasty marriages to the wrong people come up in this story.
Earlier editions of this book contained some mild swearing, but efforts have been made in this new (purple) edition to eliminate all objectionable language. There are no four-letter-words, biblical or otherwise, in this edition. That said expressions can still get colorful. For example, the made up swears like fudge and goldfish are still used. Please read completely before sharing with the precocious readers in your life.
